Online Giving Steps

  • Text WBCCHURCH to 45777.
  • For your first text donation: You will be prompted with a one-time registration screen. This will assign your mobile number to Westside, setup your account and allow you to enter debit/credit card information.

    For subsequent donations: Text WBCCHURCH and the amount to 45777 (ex. WBCCHURCH 200). Save this number in your contact list for easy access.

Stock Donations

Did you know that some of our donors have increased their giving this year by donating stock? Many donors find they have stock that has increased significantly in value, but they are hesitant to redeem the stock because they will have to pay capital gains tax. By donating the stock to Westside, you can avoid this tax and still get a tax deduction while supporting us.

Your text and online donations will be viewable from your online account. Donation checks and/or cash will not be viewable online.​

When you send ‘WBCCHURCH’ to 45777 you will receive a one time reply containing a link to give to Westside Baptist Church (1msg/request). Please be aware that message & data rates may apply. Visit Fellowship One for Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. For help reply HELP or STOP to cancel.
To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to 45777 or 45888 or the text message received by you from us. In response, you may receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. If you want to join the Program again, you may reply to a previous text message or sign-up as you did the first time, and we will start sending text messages to you again.
To cancel recurring payments through which you enroll via text message as part of the Program, reply EDIT to the text message received by you from us. If you do not cancel a recurring payment at least 1 day prior to the next scheduled payment, your payment shall automatically renew in accordance with the terms of your agreement with us.

Anyone at least 70.5 years of age who is receiving mandatory annual distributions from an IRA can avoid tax if you donate directly to Westside and receive a tax deduction as
well!

Payable upon death
After providing for your family members, you can make a gift bequest of a dollar amount, specific property, a percentage of the estate, or what is left (remainder) to Westside. Consider a tithe of 10% or perhaps a bit more, offered for the glory of God.
A simple way to make a significant future gift is to name Westside the church as beneficiary to receive all (or a portion) of the proceeds of an existing life insurance policy. You will receive a tax deduction for the cash surrender value, thus reducing your tax liability.
Name the church as Owner and Beneficiary of a new life insurance policy.
Funds from IRA’s or company plans beyond the comfortable support of yourself or loved ones may be given (like life insurance proceeds) to the parish by designating Westside as your official beneficiary.
Gifts of personal property are always welcome, including collections, royalty, and mineral rights. Charitable tax deductions are available in the year of the gift.
