Earlier this week, a friend, brother of the faith, and mentor of our Senior Pastor Dr. Delvin Atchison, Dr. Joel C. Gregory wrote a thoughtful, provoking prophetic word on Facebook where he addresses the historical pain of religion and racism. Dr. Gregory is the George W. Truett Endowed Chair in Preaching and Evangelism at the George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University and the author of the book, “What We Love About the Black Church: Can We Get a Witness?“
