A Mentorship Program for Young Boys Ages 8-17

A year-round mentorship initiative pairing Black male mentors with Black boys ages 8-17, focused on life skills, academic excellence, cultural affirmation, and leadership development.
Mission / Goals:
- Success Strategies for young males ages 8 – 18 years (Integrated into Program)
- Culturally Relevant Content: Include lessons and discussions centered around African America identity, history, and current issues.
- Positive Representation: All mentors are vetted and trained adult men who embody leadership and purpose.
- High Expectations + High Support: Mentees are challenged and equipped to grow.
- Community Involvement: Families and community leaders are invited to quarterly events.
- Mental Health Awareness: Normalize emotional expression and provide access to therapists or counselors when needed.
