Chester Anderson III has served at Westside Baptist Church since 1997; starting with teaching children’s Sunday school and working in the media ministry with the sound equipment. Chester started the Stewardship ministry, leading and conducting various workshops and classes on debt elimination, budgeting, and retirement. In 2007 Chester was voted as the Treasurer. In late 2015 Chester assumed the interim position as Church Administrator, then accepted the position full-time in May 2016.

Chester is a graduate of the University of Houston receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems. He has a diverse background in the industry, banking, insurance, telecommunications, and financial services. He also holds several securities licenses (6, 63, 7, and 65), received a Certificate in Financial Planning from Southern Methodist University, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). Chester has started the process to become a Certified Church Administrator beginning with classes at Dallas Baptist University. 

Chester is married, has two daughters, and is a native of Dallas, Texas. He enjoys reading, appreciating God’s country, and educating people on being good stewards.
