Rev. Rosalind Spencer

Rev. Rosalind Spencer serves as the Children’s Pastor for Westside Baptist Church. In 2002 she was hired as a bi-vocational staff member for Westside Baptist Church as the Children’s Minister, and in 2003 became full-time, where under her leadership the ministry has grown and thrived in person and online throughout the years.

In Fort Worth, Texas, Pastor Spencer accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at six years old. She felt the call of God into ministry working as a junior counselor for YoungLife at the age of 15, where she then served for 10 years.

She is a graduate of The University of North Texas (1998), with a degree in Biology. She is a graduate of Southwestern Theological Seminary (2002), with a dual master’s in Christian Counseling and Christian Education. She is a graduate of Baylor Medical University in CPE for Chaplaincy (2020). She was licensed on August 15, 2004, and ordained on March 15, 2017.

Programs she developed over the years: AWANA Clubs, Purity, Conquerors, Youth Mission, Children Day Camp, and week-long camp, New Believer’s Class, Evangelical, and Discipleship program for children, Girl Scouts, and Online Streaming services for all aspects of ministry. Through our Children Ministry, she and the students have blessed our church with many wonderful video presentations. She founded our Childcare center which lasted for ten years and closed for new church expansions.

During her time as Youth and Children’s Pastor, the youth mission program has soared to new heights. Mission trips across America have included serving at food banks, homeless shelters, recycling books, and numerous rebuilding houses foundations.
